I'm the mother of 3, including identical twin boys and a sassy six year old who holds her own. My husband and I are avid hunters with an obsession with blacktail deer and Roosevelt elk, although we hunt a variety of wild game animals. I was raised in a hunting family and some of my favorite memories growing up were hunting and fishing along side my parents in the beautiful landscapes of Oregon. My parents spent countless hours investing in my sibling and I, letting us experience a hunting lifestyle, and it's my goal to continue to do the same with my own children.
I believe that it's our responsibility as sportsmen to pass on the hunting heritage to the next generation. Like most habits in life, they are learned at an early age. If we can introduce responsible, ethical hunting to kids, it is my hope that they will blossom into the future generations of conservationists! So, I have one question for you... Have you taken a child hunting yet?
