Worksharp Knife and Tool Sharpener

Worksharp Knife and Tool Sharpener

If there’s one thing that drives me bonkers in the kitchen, it’s using dull knives. I used dull knives for a LONG time. To be honest, I’m already less than great in the kitchen, but dull knives just make the situation worse. Some women are born with Betty Crocker in their blood, I was not. However, I started using a Worksharp system in my kitchen a few months ago and it’s awesome. I no longer have to squish my tomatoes every time I cut one or dig through the knife block searching for which knife is the least dull. I wish I could say my newly sharpened knives helped improve my cooking skills, but that would be a lie and you guys get nothing but honesty from me! (Disclaimer - I do post wild game recipes from time to time, they are good, I promise!)

When I first started using my Worksharp Original Knife and Tool Sharpener, I was a little intimidated by it. For one, I had never used a belt sharpening system before, and two, I had someone tell me that they had sharpened the tip of their knife off. Let me tell you, I got over both of those fears quickly when I learned HOW to use it. After reading the provided manuals, and watching some YouTube tutorials online, I felt comfortable and went to town on some old knives first. Shortly after I transitioned to my every day kitchen knives. I didn’t sharpen ANY tips off and my knives and they are all now amazingly sharp! I have yet to sharpen half of what this tool allows you to sharpen, but it’s nice to know I can when the need arises.
